Life mirrors nature...

As a kid I roamed every wooded lot I could find in suburban New Jersey and loved all of the birds and animals. College brought me to Vermont and marriage to a small place in paradise along the Otter Creek. We were a gardening, hiking, fishing, and hunting outdoor family. Despite my numbers-oriented brain, I find challenge as well as peace in nature.

My idea to create fur hats evolved over many years, starting with simply loving the feel of my mother's fur coat when I was little. I had learned to sew clothing as a youngster. Blending cloth sewing techniques and the challenges of leather has been a fun, creative process.

I offer my hand-crafted fur products with the hope you will feel good wearing or using it.
